Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • UIUX Leadership & Planning: Responsible for defining the team's design roadmap, managing project timelines, resources, and budget from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes on schedule.
  • Client & Cross-cultural Communication: Act as the primary point of contact, leading communication with both Chinese and German clients, accurately understanding requirements, clearly articulating design strategy, and building trust.
  • Deliverables & Quality Coordination: Oversee all design deliverables (prototypes, specifications, assets), establish review standards, and ensure design consistency and compliance with automotive-grade quality benchmarks.
  • Critical Design Decision-Making: Make authoritative decisions on key aspects such as user experience, interaction logic, and visual style, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or above, major in design-related fields, with overseas or cross-cultural work experience preferred.
  • Possess solid UI/UX design skills, able to make independent core design decisions with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiar with design tools such as Figma and Axure, understand automotive-grade design standards, and be able to implement review and quality systems.
  • Have strong requirements analysis, problem-solving and multi-objective balancing capabilities.
