Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) Global Business Control Team is looking for a motivated and analytically curious professional to join our Global Business Control team and support the development of analytics, reporting, and forecasting capabilities that enable effective business planning and performance management across the organization.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced team members and cross-functional stakeholders from Business, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Advanced Analytics teams to help improve how data is used in planning, forecasting, and business performance reviews. You will contribute to building scalable reporting solutions, improving data flows, and supporting analytics initiatives that enhance decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Support analytical projects that provide insights into business performance, trends, and planning assumptions.
· Assist in maintaining and improving dashboards, reports, and metrics used in the Business Management System (BMS).
· Work with senior team members and analytics experts to help integrate forecasting and predictive models into business reporting.
· Help identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve planning and reporting processes.
· Prepare clear summaries, presentations, and visualizations to communicate findings to business stakeholders.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
· Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools and planning systems.
Required Qualifications & Experience
· 5+ years of experience in business analytics, finance, planning, consulting, or a related field.
· Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data in Excel, BI tools, or similar platforms.
· Interest in business planning, performance management, and data-driven decision making.
· Good communication skills with the ability to explain data insights in a clear and simple way to a wide range of stakeholders from various function, culture and geographies
· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
· Curious mindset and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and business concepts.
· Basic understanding of reporting, dashboards, or data visualization tools is a plus.
· Interest in digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled analytics is beneficial but not required.
