The Europe-META SSG Business Manager is a strategically critical role, supporting the success of the Services & Solutions Group (SSG) across the Europe-META region with a focus on commercial infrastructure solutions. At the heart of this position is the enablement and accelerated growth of advanced services adoption and sales - most notably Hybrid Cloud and AI solutions.
You will act as a strategic advisor to the Product Enablement team and serve as the Europe-META counterpart to the worldwide Hybrid Cloud Services (HCS) and AI product development teams, ensuring that regional market needs and business requirements are clearly represented and fully integrated into global product strategies.
This role is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies to achieve ambitious revenue KPIs, enabling last-mile sales programs, and fostering advanced services adoption. The manager’s influence extends to shaping the direction of Hybrid Cloud and AI offerings, acting as the key voice for Europe-META in global product discussions, and ensuring that the region’s unique market dynamics drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Portfolio coverage spans Global Product Solutions, Sustainability, Digital Workplace Solutions, Software-led Services, Hybrid Cloud, As-a-Service Solutions, and AI-powered Verticals. The role requires extensive collaboration across global and regional sales, marketing, enablement teams, and corporate functions.
Essential competencies include expertise in market and competitive dynamics, native proficiency in AI and Hybrid Cloud technologies, strategic GTM experience, strong sales narrative skills, and excellence in communication, collaboration, and team management—especially in hybrid and remote environments. Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills considered an asset.
Key Objectives of Role:
- Geo focal to International Sales Organization (ISO) business units
- Doubling up as primary point-of-contact for WW Commercial segment, Services & Solutions Group (SSG)
- Close engagement with SSG portfolio enablement team to develop clear business objectives, ensuring sales hygiene guided by KPIs
- Strategize and develop comprehensive and aligned GTM to achieve revenue KPIs
- Last mile enablement for sales programs and initiatives in regional markets across Europe-META, focusing on end-user sales motions
- A core focus of this role is the enablement and growth of advanced services adoption and sales - particularly Hybrid Cloud and AI solutions. You will act as a strategic advisor to the Product Enablement team and serve as the Europe-META counterpart to the WW Hybrid Cloud Services (HCS) and AI product development teams, ensuring regional market needs and business requirements are clearly represented and integrated.
Competencies Required:
- Comprehensive expertise in market and competitive dynamics pertinent to assigned portfolio and knowledge and experience with assigned portfolio
- Native expertise in native AI and Hybrid Cloud technologies, with the ability to guide and advise teams in these domains.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with assigned Portfolio GTM strategies
- Sales Narrative competencies. Proficient in storytelling and able to generate compelling sales narratives tailored to the portfolio.
