Description and Requirements

We are seeking a Security Product Manager to lead security strategy and execution across our server product portfolio. In this role, you’ll shape how security is designed, delivered, and differentiated—working closely with system, platform, engineering, and security teams to embed security from concept through launch.

This is a hands-on product leadership role with broad portfolio impact, ideal for someone who can balance technical depth, product strategy, and cross‑functional influence.

What You’ll Do

Own Security as a Product Capability

  • Lead the security domain across the server portfolio in partnership with system and platform leaders
  • Ensure security is designed into products from the earliest stages
  • Translate evolving threat landscapes and security requirements into clear, market‑ready product capabilities
  • Position security as a visible and differentiated product value

Drive Strategy, Trade-Offs & Execution

  • Shape the security roadmap and drive requirements through delivery
  • Lead thoughtful trade-offs across risk, cost, performance, and customer experience
  • Balance strong security depth with usability and competitiveness
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and ESG considerations where applicable

Partner & Influence Across Teams

  • Work closely with Product Managers to embed consistent security requirements across product lifecycles
  • Align Product, Engineering, Security, and Commercial teams around shared outcomes
  • Manage cross‑portfolio dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear business and customer value

Governance & Risk Leadership

  • Partner with Product Security teams to define and execute standards and requirements
  • Translate regulatory and security expectations into actionable product definitions
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management for server, infrastructure, platform, or similar technology products
  • Strong background in product or platform security, or a closely related technical domain
  • Ability to balance technical depth with business and product decision‑making

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working deeply with technical teams without owning hands‑on implementation
  • Confidence engaging with senior engineers, architects, and security experts
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes through collaboration and clear communication
  • Interest in leveraging AI‑assisted tools to improve productivity and insight
  • Understanding of AI’s impact on security and product design is a plus
  • Curious mindset and commitment to continuous learning
  • Experience with compliance, regulatory, or ESG topics is a plus

Why You’ll Enjoy This Role

  • Opportunity to shape security strategy across a broad server portfolio
  • High visibility and influence without direct people management
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, security, and business teams
  • A role focused on impact, execution, and outcomes
