The First Party Monetization Manager owns end to end delivery of Lenovo first party monetization to turn approved monetization strategy into shipped, revenue generating products.
This role will need to work hands on with all Lenovo products and solutions groups to land and scale all Lenovo products and solutions through Qira, Lenovo's Cross-Device Personal Intelligence.
The role acts as the owner for Lenovo 1P monetization outcomes across Product, Engineering, and GTM partners.
What You'll Do
1. First‑Party Monetization Product Ownership
- Own Lenovo 1P monetization scope for Qira, including:
- Subscriptions (e.g., Qira Pro)
- Token
- Credit / usage top‑offs
- Lenovo IDG’s all products on Lenovo.com
- Lenovo SSG services and solutions
- Translate monetization strategy and project requests into clear product requirements, backlogs, and delivery plans.
2. POD‑Based Delivery & Execution
- Work embedded with Qira POD teams (Product, Eng, UX, Platform) to land monetization features for Lenovo 1P products and solutions.
- Drive execution across Prove, Define, and Ship phases with clear success criteria.
- Remove blockers across dependency teams (payments, entitlement, analytics, platforms).
3. Revenue Validation & Optimization
- Define and track monetization KPIs: conversion, ARPU, churn, attach rate, contribution margin.
- Partner with Analytics to ensure instrumentation and attribution are in place.
- Run pricing, packaging, and offer experiments to validate willingness‑to‑pay.
- Optimize live monetization surfaces based on user behavior and performance data.
4. Cross‑Functional Alignment
- Partner with:
- Lenovo IDG and eComm team on all Lenovo devices and products packaging and delivery through Qira
- Lenovo SSG & eServices teams on service packaging and delivery through Qira
- Qira products and engineering team for better customers user experience to buy Lenovo products and services
- Finance & Legal on pricing governance and revenue recognition
- Ensure monetization launches are operationally ready, globally compliant, and supportable.
5. GTM & Lifecycle Ownership
- Define 1st party monetization launch plans in coordination with Qira GTM and regional teams.
- Own post‑launch performance, iteration cadence, and lifecycle improvements.
- Feed learnings back into roadmap and future monetization phases.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years in Product Management, Monetization, or Growth roles.
- Proven experience shipping subscription or usage‑based monetization at scale.
- Experience working in eComm and eService to understand the end-to-end process and management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data‑driven, with strong intuition for customer value and willingness‑to‑pay.
- Strong execution mindset — comfortable going from ambiguous strategy to shipped product.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication and ownership mentality.
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $185K - $205K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
