■Roles and responsibilities
This position is responsible for leading strategic initiatives, overseeing business operations, and driving growth within Lenovo’s PC and Smart Devices (PCSD) business. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, developing and implementing business strategies, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives to maximize its revenue and profit.
- Business Strategy and Plans development
- Develop business strategy based on market and historical data analysis for each product, channel and customer segment
- Develop and coordinate quarterly business execution plans (revenue, profit) in align with business strategy, and interlock with sales/related team for execution.
- Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Product Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape of the PCSD product
- Plan execution and reporting
- KPI status report in regular cadence including, actual/plan gap analysis, corrective actions to address if any issues Ad-hock business analysis to improve entire business performance and propose actions to improve
Required Experience & Skills
Professional experience in a corporate environment or at a strategy consulting firm
(For consulting candidates, experience leading strategy projects within the IT industry is expected.)Solid knowledge of and practical experience in the IT industry
Experience leading business management and growth initiatives with full P&L responsibility
Proven ability to identify business issues through data and metrics, and drive solutions from planning through execution
Track record of capturing market opportunities and driving business expansion through innovative, out-of-the-box thinking
Strong analytical capability and clear, logical communication skills
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English, including reading, writing, and participation in business meetings
Strong presentation and analytical skills using PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience driving business initiatives while managing stakeholders across functions and regions, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance
Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
Proven experience scaling a business with P&L ownership, using financial metrics to identify issues and implement improvement initiatives

Deep understanding of the Japanese market, with the ability to lead strategy development and execution in a hands-on manner
Motivated to lead and grow a business on the scale of several hundred billion to trillion yen
Proactive and adaptable, with a strong interest in contributing to organizational and cultural transformation
