The role reports into the Solutions & Services Group EPS Leader DACH.
All this imposes major challenges to corporations big and small and Lenovo is ideally positioned to help customers solve these challenges: Providing not only hardware-focused solutions from the pocket to the cloud but by challenging established players through legacy-free, fresh concepts on providing digital workplace as well as data center solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Provides domain specialist overlay support to our customer Account Management teams and takes ownership for managing the customer relationship to generate demand for and ultimately transact complex services solutions
- Builds and coordinates a high performing team to design solutions that maximise value for the customer and Lenovo
- Can identify and create sales strategies and opportunities that generate additional revenue with existing and new accounts
- Focuses on larger deals primarily for digital workplace and data center solutions but utilising Lenovo’s full portfolio of offerings, augmented by industry best-practice offerings
- Identifies & qualifies a broad range of opportunities together with the account teams
- Manages customer expectations and supports bridging requirements into the solutioning and delivery teams
- Acts as an interface for local Sales teams, Business Partners and Key Stakeholders inclusive of Lenovo’s executives
- Takes all applicable opportunities through mandated deal Governance, ensuring every opportunity is financially healthy and aligned to Lenovo’s growth strategy
Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience of selling professional and managed services into the corporate segment, preferably around device-as-a-service, digital workplace services and data center solutions and services
- Planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management
- Ability to present and to pitch at the right level to a wide range of key stakeholders from CXO to Technical to Finance
- Capable of being seen as a thought leader and trusted advisor to our customers
- Has a proven pedigree of leading large IT projects whether those are consulting, pre and post-sales transformational IT services or IT design and build projects in IT departments
- Ability to articulate and present the business value of Lenovo's solutions and have a firm understanding of industry strategies and products
- Experience leading large and complex deals
- Familiarity with selling security and/or sustainability solutions is advantageous
