Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead the project team, allocate shared resources, develop gaming notebooks and ecosystem products, and ensure successful delivery.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional project teams through strong communication skills to drive product concept design, project management, development risk mitigation, and on-time execution and delivery of gaming products.

3. Cooperate with the marketing team on new product concept development, communicate with R&D teams to verify the feasibility of new product concepts proposed by marketing, and work with R&D teams to identify areas for improvement in the architecture or feature set of the current product line.

4. Conduct research on gaming product industry features, including competitor feature analysis and key feature industry roadmap research.

5. Understand and manage project scope to ensure delivery within time and cost constraints; develop and implement gaming feature landing, and guide performance design from a user perspective.

6. Host regular interlock meetings with internal and external teams to discuss project status (including schedule, feature design, function targets, etc.).

7. Participate in engineering, manufacturing, and quality meetings to monitor design-related issues, and organize the team to develop solutions for critical issues or mitigation plans for uncertainties.

8. Participate in discussions with marketing and stakeholders on urgent requests or critical issues that hinder shipments.

9. Coordinate R&D, Marketing PM, and manufacturing teams to review design changes or EC implementation that may affect material readiness and feature landing.

10. Track NPI status for technical interlocks and new design discussions on product features.

11. Collaborate and communicate between ODM and Lenovo engineers/validation teams to avoid communication gaps or misunderstandings.

12. Conduct regular Lessons Learned sessions with the team to ensure project and process improvements are captured from project kick-off to product launch.

Job Requirements

1. Have more than 5 years of technical background in product management or project management.

2. Experience in Linux OS/Steam OS development management is preferred.

3. Industrial experience and knowledge in gaming handheld devices is preferred.

4. Possess fluent English skills in speaking, writing, and communication.

5. Have strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities with diverse stakeholders to ensure responsiveness to deliverables and deadlines, alignment with project goals, and drive action.

6. Be familiar with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Project tools.

7. Have a strong customer focus and business sense in project management.
