Join Lenovo’s Solutions & Services Group (SSG) as a Senior Solutions & Services Specialist – Security SW, where you will help drive the growth of our cybersecurity services business across enterprise customers. Acting as both a sales and technical lead, you will shape and close complex security opportunities, design AI-powered solutions, and support customers in navigating an evolving threat landscape.
Working closely with account teams, channel partners, and leading technology vendors, you will deliver tailored security services and trusted expertise. In this role, you will report to the Head of Global Software & Services Sales and play a key part in advancing Lenovo’s Security Services portfolio across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the sales & technical lead for Lenovo’s Security Services, owning a dedicated security quota and driving end-to-end opportunity success
- Partner with account executives, distributors, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to develop pipeline and accelerate deal closure
- Lead customer discovery sessions to assess security posture, identify risks, and define tailored requirements
- Design and present AI-powered security solutions, combining managed services with endpoint, network, and cloud protection
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-value engagements, collaborating with partners such as Microsoft, Absolute, SentinelOne, and MSPs
- Serve as a trusted advisor, communicating how AI-driven security and modern threat intelligence mitigate evolving cyber risks
- Support RFP/RFI responses, contribute to solution architecture, and ensure alignment with scalable managed service delivery models
- Enable partners and influence strategy by delivering training, sharing customer insights, and staying ahead of emerging threats, AI attack vectors, and 24/7 monitoring & response trends
Requirements & Skills:
- Extensive relevant professional experience, with background collaborating with or competing against leading cybersecurity ecosystem partners (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, Arrow) (preferred)
- Understanding of channel- and distribution-led go-to-market models, especially within European enterprise environments (preferred)
- Exposure to key cybersecurity domains, such as endpoint security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), SOC/MDR, or integrated platform-based solutions (preferred)
- Experience working with or alongside security vendors, MDR/MSSP providers (Managed Detection & Response / Managed Security Services Providers), distributors, or system integrators (preferred)
- Solid understanding of enterprise buying processes, including procurement models, budgeting cycles, and decision-making frameworks
- Ability to engage and influence senior enterprise stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, and executive decision-makers
- Proven success selling complex security solutions in multi-stakeholder environments, using consultative, outcome-driven sales motions
- Strong experience in IT and/or cybersecurity services sales, with a clear focus on solutions, services, and value-based selling (beyond hardware-only approaches)
