We are hiring a Talent Brand AI Search Optimization Intern for an immediate start. This is a hybrid role based in Morrisville, NC, following Lenovo’s schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
What you will do
As a Talent Brand AI Search Optimization Intern, you’ll help shape Lenovo’s employer brand in the age of AI through Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). You will analyze how Lenovo content is interpreted across search engines and AI platforms, identifying opportunities to improve visibility and narrative accuracy. You will also help create AI-optimized content to help tell Lenovo’s innovation story and share our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
Key responsibilities
- Research how large language models (LLMs) and AI search platforms discover and display Lenovo content
- Analyze search results and AI-generated responses to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities
- Partner with Lenovo’s global Talent Acquisition, Employee Communications, Marketing, and Social Media teams to create strategic messaging
- Help develop GEO- and AEO-optimized content and storytelling assets for Lenovo’s career site, social media, and other digital channels
- Track and report on AI search visibility and employer brand insights
This role sits at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, AI, search, and storytelling, reimagining content to influence how Lenovo appears in the next generation of search experiences. You will gain practical experience in brand strategy, develop cross-functional and global collaboration skills, build a portfolio of AI-informed work in an emerging field, and work on projects with direct visibility to Talent Acquisition and Marketing leaders.
Requirements
- A current student enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or master’s degree program
- 6+ months of marketing, recruiting/HR, AI research, SEO, or digital marketing experience (can be from coursework, internships/jobs, or campus organizations)
- Exceptional storytelling and writing skills with a passion for emerging technology
- Strong curiosity about AI, LLMs, and the evolving search landscape
Preferred skills
- Familiarity with SEO; interest in GEO and AEO strongly preferred
- Ability to conduct research, analyze patterns, and translate insights into action
- Interest in digital marketing and social media
