About the Role

The Product Marketing organization shapes how our technology connects with people, transforming complex product innovations into clear, compelling narratives. We influence every stage of development, from early concept through global launch, to ensure every product reflects what matters most to consumers.

As Senior Manager of Product Marketing, you will lead the moto g and Motorola laptop and tablet franchises, influencing their portfolio of products from end to end and being fully accountable for all product marketing workstreams. This includes early involvement in portfolio planning and product definition, development of positioning, naming, messaging, claims, and authoring product marketing briefs and copy guides. You will also be responsible for understanding product performance after launch and influencing quick action when needed to strengthen results and stay competitive.

You will serve as the voice of the consumer, a trusted advisor to product management and engineering, and a key partner to global and regional teams. You will lead a small team of product marketers, managing through them to deliver results. Success in this role depends on your ability to prioritize, delegate effectively, and guide your team to execute with excellence. You’ll need to balance strategic direction with hands-on leadership to ensure the right ideas come to life in the right way.

This role is global in nature and requires travel approximately 10–20% of the time to collaborate with regional teams, attend launch events, and engage directly with customers and partners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable representing Motorola in external settings, including customer meetings, media briefings, and launch presentations. Strong presentation and communication skills, in English, are essential.

• Influence the moto g and Motorola laptop and tablet franchises from end to end and lead all product marketing workstreams across the full lifecycle.
• Oversee the development of positioning, naming, messaging, claims, product marketing briefs, and copy guides that define how each product is communicated globally.
• Manage a small team of product marketers, setting clear priorities, developing their strengths, and driving results through collaboration and accountability.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and regional teams to ensure consumer insights, market trends, and competitive positioning shape product definition and business priorities.
• Represent the voice of the consumer throughout the development process to deliver products that resonate globally.
• Monitor product performance post-launch, identify opportunities or gaps, and influence quick changes to improve results when needed.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, PR, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure cohesive launches and strong sell-in materials.
• Confidently present to leadership, customers, and media, serving as a visible representative of the brand and product story.
• Lead, mentor, and empower your team to be bold in their ideas, innovative in their approach, and confident in their influence.

• Minimum of eight years of experience in product marketing or communications, ideally in consumer electronics, smartphones, or related technology fields.
• Proven leadership experience managing small teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exceptional proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively across global teams.
• Strong understanding of retail and carrier marketing and sales processes on a worldwide scale.
• Strategic and analytical thinker who can balance long-term vision with attention to detail.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and influencing decisions with confidence across disciplines and up to C-Suite.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to represent Motorola externally with customers, partners, and media.
• Customer-centric, proactive, and results-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally 10–20% of the time.
