Description and Requirements
Reporting to the Global Strategic Partnership Director, you will be a thought leader and enablement partner for business leaders. You will define the overall strategic partnership plan with AMD and the strategic initiatives that contribute to the company's channel business growth.
The joint business planning process will investigate and define the opportunities for success and additionally lay out guidelines on how Lenovo will enable the partnership through Geo’s and countries. Crucial to its success will be stakeholder engagement, ensuring AMD, ISO HQ and Geo’s are all aligned to the plan.
To understand the impact of our partnership, agreed metrics and business monitoring will be key. Ongoing review and best practice sharing across the business will ensure we are consistently embracing opportunities.
The successful candidate will be experienced in Channel Sales and Account Management, be technology focused with a clear understanding of industry technologies and data driven.
We are looking for the person who challenges the ordinary and seeks to innovate in learning, while balancing execution. Building tight working relationships with our alliance partner AMD and Lenovo stakeholders is critical for joint success.
Responsibilities:
- Create, build, and execute jointly together the GTM Channel Strategy for AMD business.
- Grow the AMD business through the Channel with all Lenovo business groups utilizing L360 as a framework for success.
- Build on, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Lenovo Business Groups, AMD and Lenovo Geo Sales.
- Develop BMS and dashboard to review overall AMD Channel Sales through & funding vs outcomes and opportunities.
- Work across a matrixed organization to ensure maximum program participation, communication, and effectiveness.
- Budget and track financial success of key programs against set KPI’s, making program suggestions, alterations and sharing best practice as needed across business and Geo’s.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years previous experience in Channel Sales, Sales Management, Sales Strategy or Alliance, with additional Finance, business Ops, Product Management experience a benefit.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and identify approaches & solutions to challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and comfortable working with Senior business leaders
- Must be able to create and deliver visual strategies and articulate clearly to internal and external audiences.
- Entrepreneurship with a high degree of self-motivation and drive.
- Proficiency in Powerpoint Excel, and other office applications
