Description and Requirements

Role Overview

This role provides on-site basic technical support for Business Impact Area (BIA) environments, supporting VIP users and core business systems.

The position is ideal for early-career professionals and focuses on delivering hands-on IT support, resolving routine technical issues, and ensuring a positive user experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide basic on-site technical support for VIP users within BIA environments
  • Support configuration, installation, and maintenance of market data systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Broadcast, Dealing, Agência Estado, BMF)
  • Provide support for proprietary and commercial systems (e.g., Windows, Office, ERP systems such as Totvs) across desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Perform on-site diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software issues
  • Ensure all actions related to incident resolution or escalation are accurately recorded in ITSM systems
  • Conduct basic diagnostics and resolve equipment performance issues
  • Perform hardware maintenance and break/fix services when required
  • Provide guidance to users on preventive maintenance and system configurations to improve performance

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of hardware and software support technologies
  • Ability to handle routine service requests and troubleshoot simple technical issues
  • General understanding of IT processes, procedures, and operational workflows
  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and follow established guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail, including documentation and reporting

Preferred:

  • Exposure to trading desk tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Broadcast, Dealing, Agência Estado, BMF)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:
    Up to 2 years of experience in on-site IT support or a related technical environment

  • Education:
    Technical high school diploma or undergraduate degree in progress in an IT-related discipline, or completion of relevant IT certifications
