Role Details -
This is a full-time Senior People Analytics Specialist (Individual Contributor) role based in Lenovo Global People Analytics team based out of Bangalore.
The position is part of the global People Analytics team and focuses on building advanced analytics capabilities while driving automation and operational efficiency across HR data and reporting processes.
The role will work closely with HR, and cross-functional teams to develop scalable data solutions, predictive insights, and automated workflows that enhance decision-making and reduce manual effort.
This position is ideal for a technically strong analytics professional who enjoys working with data, building models, and improving systems through automation.
Required Skill Set:
- Python - Pandas, NumPy; Experience in modeling and data processing
- SQL
- Power BI
- Statistical & Analytical Skills - Regression, classification, clustering, Hypothesis testing etc
- Power Automate or equivalent workflow tools
- Strong experience working with large and complex datasets
Good-to-have Skills:
- Experience with automation tools
- Understanding of data pipelines / ETL processes
- Exposure to HR / People Analytics data
- Basic experience with APIs / data integration

Required Educational Background & Experience: -
MBA / MTech /MSC in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Mining, Econometrics, or related fields
3 to 6 years of related experience (HR domain experience is not mandatory but a plus)

- Should be able to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics solutions including predictive models (e.g., attrition risk, workforce segmentation) using structured analytical approaches
- Hands-on experience working with large, real-time datasets and strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data manipulation techniques is a must
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques including regression, classification, clustering, and hypothesis testing
- Ability to automate reporting and analytics workflows using Python scripting, workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate), or similar automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Experience in building scalable data pipelines and working with databases (e.g., MS SQL Server) and data transformation tools; exposure to ETL processes is an advantage
- Should participate in the end-to-end analytics lifecycle including data extraction, data preparation, modeling, validation, deployment, and ongoing optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure analytical problems, identify key variables, and derive meaningful insights from data
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive analytical solutions from concept to execution
- Experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development
- Demonstrated mindset of improving operational efficiency through automation and process optimization
- Basic exposure to APIs and data integration concepts will be an added advantage
- Strong learning agility with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and analytical methodologies
- Good communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate analytical outputs, assumptions, and results to internal stakeholders
