Description and Requirements

We are seeking a motivated Data Analytics Intern to join our Data Analytics & Reporting team. This internship offers hands-on experience in SQL, data analysis, and automation to help drive insightful business decisions. You will assist with developing, optimizing, and automating data reporting processes, supporting our team’s mission to enhance data accessibility and efficiency across departments.

What you will do:

  • Design, write, and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, transform, and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
  • Develop automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improving data pipeline efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the creation of dashboards and reporting tools for real-time analytics using Qlik / Power BI.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, ensure data integrity, and document key processes and workflows.
  • Contribute to team projects aimed at enhancing data quality, governance, and compliance.
What we need from you:
  • Willingness to learn and can-do attitude.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field at a Slovak University.
  • Availability for up to 20 hours a week.
  • English Language (B2 or higher).
  • For non-EU citizens - valid Residence/Work Permit.

What we expect from you:

  • To have strong understanding of SQL, data structures, and database concepts.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €11200–16390 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process.
In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities.
For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
