Role Overview
The Senior Planning Analyst will be responsible for leading the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, ensuring the accurate translation of demand signals into material (parts) requirements across the supply chain.
This role acts as a critical interface between Demand Planning, Global Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations, ensuring that demand signals and supply commitments are converted into actionable plans. The position supports supply balancing, inventory efficiency, and overall business continuity through structured planning and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
MRP Management and Material Planning
- Execute and ensure the accuracy of the MRP process, translating demand forecasts into material requirements at BOM level
- Consolidate and structure demand data to generate accurate signals for procurement, production, and replenishment
- Continuously monitor demand versus supply plan variations, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities
Translation of Demand into Supply Actions
- Convert demand variations into actionable supply chain decisions, including:
- Pull-in (early deliveries)
- Push-out (postponements)
- Order cancellations
- Ensure all demand changes are consistently and timely reflected in the supply plan
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to shortages or excess inventory
Supply Chain Information Leadership (Procurement, Execution, and Demand)
- Lead the flow of supply chain information across key functions:
- Procurement
- Order Execution / Operations
- Demand Planning
- Act as the focal point to ensure data consistency, alignment, and synchronization across areas
- Translate planning decisions into clear, structured, and actionable communication for stakeholders
- Ensure supply decisions are fully aligned with demand planning and execution strategies
- Facilitate alignment between local and global teams, enabling structured end-to-end decision-making
Planning Governance and Process Integration
- Support IBP / S&OP cycles, with strong participation in Supply Review processes
- Ensure consistency, transparency, and reliability of MRP information for stakeholders
- Establish and maintain planning standards, assumptions, and data governance
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain roles
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams
- Advanced Excel (Power BI / SAP / planning tools are a plus)
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent English
