Description and Requirements

Position Overview
•Responsible for designing and reviewing mechanical design solutions to ensure design quality, technical soundness, and risk mitigation.
•Track core mechanical requirements from users and, based on real application scenarios, drive iterative optimization of equipment design, following the full lifecycle from design and manufacturing to on-site delivery and implementation.
•Lead equipment standardization and systematization efforts by establishing a comprehensive mechanical design standards framework to improve equipment universality, maintainability, and production efficiency.
Responsibilities
•Develop deep expertise in mechanical design and take responsibility for reviewing mechanical design solutions and drawings for various types of equipment. Focus on evaluating design rationality, structural reliability, manufacturing feasibility, and cost control, and provide targeted optimization recommendations to ensure compliance with industry standards and user requirements.
•Continuously track user requirements and feedback, identify pain points and optimization opportunities, and combine real operational data to define equipment iteration plans. Drive iterative upgrades of mechanical structures, components, and assembly processes to improve equipment performance and user experience.
Lead equipment standardization and normalization initiatives, including the development of mechanical design standards, standardized component specifications, assembly process standards, and maintenance standards. Promote standard implementation to reduce redundant design work and improve equipment generalization, interchangeability, and production efficiency.
•Participate in the full lifecycle of equipment development, prototyping, and mass production. Work closely with manufacturing and after-sales teams to provide mechanical design support and resolve mechanical issues encountered during production, installation, and operation, ensuring stable deployment and efficient operation of equipment.
Organize and refine technical documentation related to mechanical design, including design manuals, standards and specifications, and maintenance guides, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and standardization, and enabling full traceability across design, production, and maintenance processes.
•Track the latest technologies, processes, and industry standards in mechanical design, and introduce advanced design concepts and methods aligned with business needs and equipment roadmap priorities to optimize design workflows and enhance the team’s mechanical design capabilities.
•Collaborate with optics, algorithms, electrical, and other related teams to advance cross-functional projects, ensuring seamless integration between mechanical design and other disciplines and guaranteeing overall system performance.
Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields, with a solid foundation in mechanical design theory, including mechanisms, strength of materials, and structural mechanics.
•Tools and Software Skills: Proficient in mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD; experience with finite element analysis tools such as ANSYS is a plus. Familiar with machining processes, material selection, and standard engineering drawing practices.
• Electrical Skills: Solid understanding of electrical principles; able to create electrical schematics; proficiency in PLC programming with hands-on experience in on-site commissioning is preferred.
•Professional Expertise: Extensive experience in mechanical design review with the ability to accurately identify design flaws. Strong capability in requirement analysis and equipment iteration optimization; experience in equipment standardization initiatives is preferred.
•Project Experience: At least 4 years of experience in mechanical design, iterative optimization, and standardization for industrial equipment, particularly inspection-related systems. Able to independently conduct design reviews, requirement tracking, and standards development. Experience with standardization for mass-produced equipment is a strong plus.
•Additional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively with users and cross-functional teams. Demonstrates strong ownership, innovation mindset, and learning agility, with the ability to drive standard implementation and continuous technical improvement.
