Position Summary
The Strategic Program Manager is a senior execution leader within the AI Ecosystem Chief of Staff Office. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role drives the execution of the organization’s most important cross-functional AI initiatives — translating leadership direction into structured plans, milestones, and outcomes.
Based in Beijing, the role acts as the operational backbone for executive decision-making: tracking commitments, surfacing risks, coordinating demo readiness, and holding stakeholders accountable across global and China-based teams. The role requires fluent English and Mandarin to bridge regional execution with global leadership.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead execution of strategic cross-functional initiatives across the AI Ecosystem organization.
- Track executive actions, decisions, and follow-ups to ensure timely closure.
- Maintain dashboards and milestone tracking of actions for leadership visibility.
- Coordinate demo readiness for leadership meetings and executive reviews.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalation paths for in-flight initiatives.
- Ensure accountability across stakeholders and workstreams.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Full professional fluency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written) — both are required for daily work with global and China-based stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, strategy & operations, consulting, or a Chief of Staff function.
- Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional initiatives with executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency in executive reporting, dashboards, and milestone tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MBA or technical Master’s) preferred.
- Experience supporting AI, cloud, data, or large-scale technology organizations.
- Background working in a multinational, matrixed environment spanning APAC and global teams.
- Familiarity with OKR / portfolio governance frameworks and executive operating cadences.

Working Conditions
- This is a full-time position based in Beijing, China. The role works on a hybrid schedule from the Lenovo Beijing campus and partners closely with global counterparts in North America and EMEA, which will occasionally require flexibility in working hours to accommodate cross-time-zone meetings. Limited domestic and international travel may be required.
