As part of Lenovo Solutions and Services Group (SSG), our organization leads the software R&D efforts and owns the Hybrid Cloud and AI platforms. Our team plays a central role in Lenovo’s AI-first cloud strategy by enabling integration across cloud solutions and helping define the Lenovo Software roadmap and vision.
Our team is currently seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive engineering efforts and programs across Lenovo’s divisions.
In this role, you will own the full program lifecycle—from roadmap alignment and development execution to production readiness and customer success. You will serve as a cross-functional leader across engineering, system architecture and other horizontal functions, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, within the agreed upon scope.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical depth in software development processes and platforms, combined with executive-level communication and stakeholders engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Program Leadership
- Ensure alignment on planning and priorities across the different engineering teams
- Own executive-level communication, including WBRs, and ongoing partnership alignment
Process and Reporting
- Manage project plans, milestones, risks, and cross-functional execution across engineering teams
- Ensure adherence to compliance, security and other release gates
- Drive process improvements to optimize program efficiency and quality.
- Provide regular status updates and detailed reports to stakeholders, including leadership and customers.
- Manage program changes, ensuring they are documented, communicated, and implemented effectively.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, strong QBR performance, and resolution of critical issues
- Keep teams accountable
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Scientific subjects, or related field
- 8+ years of technical program management experience in software engineering, cloud computing or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of managing complex projects for enterprise or hyperscale customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Ability to lead complex global programs and drive outcomes under tight timelines
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management tools, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint, jira, etc
