Description and Requirements

You'll be responsible for:
1. Invoice Processing & Validation
  • Process invoices (PO / Non-PO) ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Perform invoice validation and coding in systems (IO / Ariba)
  • Ensure correct handling of different invoice flows (e.g., PO-based vs IO-based workflows)
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and exceptions in a timely manner
2. Payment & Vendor Management
  • Ensure timely response to vendor inquiries
  • Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and vendors
3. Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies
  • Follow DOA (Delegation of Authority) and approval matrix
  • Support internal/external audits when required
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including: Business requestors (e.g., Marketing, Legal, other functions), Finance & Controlling teams, Procurement / GP team
  • Clarify business requirements and ensure correct process routing, with the ability to challenge and guide stakeholders where needed
  • Act as a key liaison to bridge business needs and AP processes, ensuring compliance and process consistency
  • Proactively identify process inefficiencies and provide improvement recommendations
  • Support and drive automation initiatives (e.g., AI agent, PTP transformation projects)
You'll bring:
  • 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or similar role
  • Practical experience with invoice processing, vendor communication, and P2P processes is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience or openness to work with digital tools, including automation solutions and AI tools (e.g., Copilot), to improve daily efficiency
  • Fluent English (written & spoken), Additional European language is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy (audit-sensitive environment)
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
  • Proactive mindset with focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement

The gross base monthly salary range for this position is 1417 EUR - 2071 EUR, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €17000–24860 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process.
In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities.
For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
