Description and Requirements

📋 Overall Description: The Sr Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with R&D (Research & Development) obligations under the Brazilian Informatics Law.

🚀Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and controlling R&D (Research & Development) expenses in line with the established budget and government requirements.
  • Provide financial support to the R&D team, including analysis of project-related expenses.
  • Monitor expenses against the annual budget to ensure cost control and avoid overspending.
  • Prepare and share financial reports with the R&D team to highlight potential risks related to budget or regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze sales reports to calculate and track R&D obligations.
  • Present financial results (actual vs. budget) for projects, as well as closing reports to management and the finance leadership team.
  • Oversee project accounting, including journal entries, provisions control, and accounting analysis of expenses.

✅ Position requirements:

  • Advanced students or graduates in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields, with at least 4 years of experience in FP&A, project financial control, and accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and English (both written and spoken); the role requires active participation in meetings conducted in English.
  • Knowledge of the Brazilian Informatics Law and experience in tax/accounting areas are a plus, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
