Description and Requirements

The Regional Director, Hybrid Cloud & AI Pre-Sales leads Lenovo’s regional pre-sales organization, driving execution of Hybrid Cloud and AI strategy across a defined geography. This senior leadership role manages a team of solution architects and forward-deployed engineers, partnering closely with sales and delivery teams to accelerate pipeline conversion and win rates. The position operates in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment with regional and global stakeholders. Hybrid working and regional travel are expected.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a regional team of pre-sales professionals, including solution architects and forward-deployed engineers.
  • Translate global Hybrid Cloud & AI pre-sales strategy into effective regional execution plans.
  • Partner with regional sales leadership to drive pipeline growth, opportunity prioritization, and deal progression.
  • Provide leadership on strategic and complex deals, ensuring high-quality solution design and technical credibility.
  • Support creation of proposals, architectures, and executive-level customer presentations.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers as a senior technical advisor, aligning solutions to business outcomes.
  • Establish consistent pre-sales processes, standards, and governance across the region.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., win rate, pipeline conversion, customer satisfaction) and drive continuous improvement.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10–15 years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, technical consulting, or technology services.
  • Proven expertise in Hybrid Cloud, AI, infrastructure, and enterprise solution architectures.
  • Demonstrated success supporting large-scale, complex enterprise sales engagements.
  • Prior experience leading and developing technical or consulting teams.
  • Experience working in a regional and/or matrixed organizational structure.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills, with the ability to translate complex technologies into customer value.
