Description and Requirements

Position Summary
This role is a key contributor to the MDSC global supply planning process, data and system. The role delivers major planning data—including One Plan commitment, overseas EMS factory ship plan commitment, global CTB, stoplight consolidation, PDP with offset rules. The role also leads digital tool development (e.g., Smart Supply Planning, SP workspace) and integrates cross-functional tools into one platform as a One Team solution.
Job Responsibilities
1. Digital Transformation & Intelligence
- Lead and bridge DT/IT teams to identify automation, digitalization, and AI opportunities; empower daily operations with AI technology.
- Develop and enable the Smart Supply Planning tool, contributing to upstream/downstream digital projects; extend to GSC level for platform synergy and resource leverage.
- Create Power BI dashboards to visualize MDSC supply planning data, measure business results and performance, and predict risks/issues; centralize into a global data pool for worldwide visibility and traceability.
2. Process Optimization & Innovation
- Enhance processes in a dynamic industrial environment; initiate new processes (e.g., risk buy process across NPI, BU, procurement, planning) and enhance existing ones (e.g., KD ship plan centralization, NPI PSS integration into SSP, digital huddle integration into planning).
- Standardize planning timelines, logic, and templates across all overseas EMS factories.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyze business results and performance by managing master data and planning data; initiate improvements accordingly.
- Ensure accurate system/BOM operation and resolve issues to sustain customer fulfillment timelines.
- Monitor, track, and predict planning issues with effective cross-functional solutions.
4. Team Development & Training
- Train new members on general planning instructions.

– As business expands, bring new business models into E2E planning with necessary enhancements to existing processes, systems, and tools, working cross-functionally.

– Uncover true value from decades of MDSC planning data; provide deep insights behind business performance to support success in highly competitive markets.

– Follow strict weekly timelines, drive and influence multiple functions, set key monitors and pre-alerts, react quickly to exceptions; continuously improve efficiency to match business complexity and growth.
