Description and Requirements


Lenovo is seeking an experienced Intel HPC and Service Provider Technical Sales Consultant to join its Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential extension), based in Madrid. This role operates at the intersection of Intel-based architecture and Lenovo’s data center portfolio, supporting customers and partners across the full solution lifecycle. The position is primarily pre-sales and solution-focused, requiring strong technical understanding combined with business development capability, with regular collaboration across international teams and potential regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop HPC and Service Provider opportunities within assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor

• Build and manage a robust pipeline of infrastructure solutions aligned to customer needs

• Engage senior technical and business stakeholders to drive solution alignment and value creation

• Gather and analyze customer requirements to define tailored data center architectures

• Collaborate with sales, presales, and partners to design, validate, and position solutions

• Lead or contribute technical input to RFIs, RFPs, and tender submissions

• Drive and support Proof of Concept (POC) activities to validate performance and solution fit

• Support the full opportunity lifecycle with technical presentations, demos, and solution guidance through to closure

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in customer-facing technical sales, presales, or solution architecture within data center environments

• Strong understanding of server, storage, networking, virtualization, and hyper-converged infrastructure technologies

• Solid knowledge of Intel-based architectures and HPC or service provider environments (direct experience is an advantage)

• Experience working with or within hardware vendors or system integrators is highly desirable

• Fluent English, Spanish or Portuguese is required

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders

• Collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment and adapt to evolving priorities
