Description and Requirements

The Pre-Sales Security Solution Architect will act as the technical bridge between sales teams and clients, designing tailored security solutions (firewalls, EDR, SIEM, Cloud Security) to meet customer needs. The Solution Architect will conduct technical presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoC) to drive sales, manage RFPs/RFIs, and assist in achieving revenue targets.

This role requires a professional with deep knowledge of regional and in-country federal security regulations, capable of conducting targeted research to align solutions with specific customer requirements. The individual will guide customers in selecting the most appropriate products, recommend best practices for successful implementation, and develop strategic, future-ready roadmaps to support long-term success. Acting as a trusted advisor, this person will build strong customer relationships, provide expert guidance, and ensure solutions are both compliant and optimized for scalability and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Technical Consultation: Engage with prospects to gather requirements, analyze security risks, and design customized security architectures.
  • Demos & PoCs: Deliver compelling technical product demonstrations and manage Proof of Concepts to showcase value.
  • Solution Design: Build comprehensive security solutions including next-gen firewalls, WAF, DLP, and endpoint security (EDR), MDR, SIEM, NextGen SOC Solutions, VA/PT solutions, AI For Security and Security for AI. Anti-Ransomware solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with sales teams to prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and commercial quotations.
  • Relationship Management: Act as a trusted technical advisor, building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated with emerging threats, industry trends, and competitor products to refine technical positioning.
  • Federal Security requirements: Knowledgeable about the regional Cyber security compliance requirements, Security Standards in practice in country and in region.
  • Translate the solution into deliverables: Knowledgeable about transaling the solution into actual deliverables.
  • Train Sales Teams: Train and impart knowledge to sales teams for pitching solutions to customers, having meaningful conversations, providing customers with required information for helping Lenovo business grow.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Suitable candidate will at least have Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field with at least 10-12 years of experience in similar role
  • 7+ years of IT security technology Pre-sales, or similar experience, preferably from a GSI
  • 5+ years’ experience in designing and delivering solutions that leverage cyber security technologies.
  • Have at least one of the certifications like CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of IT outsourcing services, technology industry, digital and cyber security technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative approach to meeting business objectives and ability to influence at all levels of matrixed organizations
  • Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally, supporting different time zones
  • OSCP, CEH, SANS Certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills
