Key Responsibilities
- Global Matrix & Segment Interfacing: Maintain highly collaborative, efficient, and influential working relationships with operational counterparts across Consumer, Commercial, SMB, Motorola, and Geo teams. Synchronize design pipelines with diverse product segment cycles to ensure seamless delivery.
Internal Operations Consultancy: Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior design leadership. Provide end-to-end full-cycle planning, execution strategies, and data-driven frameworks to drive continuous improvements across the global design footprint.
Global Team Leadership: Directly manage and develop a high-performing operations team primarily located in Beijing. Drive engagement, manage cross-border workflows, and cultivate a cohesive team culture across geographic boundaries.
Capital & Resource Governance: Architect and execute DIT’s global capital allocation, OpEx tracking, and vendor management ecosystem. Exercise delegated sign-off authority on mid-tier vendor procurement and implement predictive resource-utilization models.
Continuous Improvement & Execution: Design and deploy standardized operational processes globally to remove structural friction, ensure compliance, and maximize the throughput of the creative organization.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in business operations, international program management, or management consulting within a global technology, consumer electronics, or high-volume hardware/software corporation.
Cross-Border Capability: Demonstrated success managing international teams, with specific expertise navigating the operational, cultural, and regulatory environments of the US and China markets.
Matrix Master: Proven ability to influence, collaborate with, and advise senior vice presidents and business segment leaders without direct line authority.
Mobility: Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally to global hubs (including Beijing) to maintain alignment and lead teams effectively.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or an equivalent engineering/quantitative field. An MBA or advanced professional operations certifications are highly desirable.
