We are looking for an experienced Software & Solutions Development Manager to lead our engineering team in the Bucharest Lab. In this role, you will combine people leadership, project management, and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions and LXCE software products.
As a key leader, you will work closely with global engineering teams to drive execution, optimize team performance, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture. You will play a critical role in developing talent, planning resources, improving processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

What You'll Do
People Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of software and solutions engineers.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.
- Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and constructive performance feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employees' professional growth.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
Project & Resource Management:
- Plan current and future team capacity, skills, and headcount to support business priorities.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to define priorities and align project execution.
- Balance workloads and allocate resources effectively across the team.
- Monitor project progress, team performance, and delivery against agreed objectives.
- Identify risks early and implement corrective actions when needed.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of SAP solutions and LXCE software deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices.
- Define, monitor, and report key team and delivery metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Resolve operational challenges and remove obstacles impacting delivery.
- Maintain high quality standards across development processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with global engineering managers, team leads, HR, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Influence decision-making across teams and contribute to strategic planning.
- Support organizational initiatives related to skills development, workforce planning, and process improvements.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of people management experience within a software development, solutions engineering, or similar technical environment.
- 5+ years of project management experience, including project planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Strong technical background in software development and/or enterprise solutions.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in global, cross-functional environments.
- Proven ability to prioritize, solve complex problems, and drive execution.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
