Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Process Support & Improvement

  • Assist in analyzing production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.
  • Support implementation of lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, standard work).
  • Help document and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Collect, organize, and analyze production data related to cycle times, downtime, scrap, and throughput.
  • Support development of reports, dashboards, and KPIs for manufacturing performance.
  • Assist in root cause analysis for process variation and production issues.

Manufacturing Support

  • Work directly on the production floor to observe processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in layout changes, workstation balancing, and workflow optimization.
  • Support implementation of engineering changes and new process introductions.

Project Support

  • Participate in small to mid-size improvement projects under guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support time studies, capacity analysis, and labor utilization evaluations.
  • Help track project timelines, action items, and implementation progress.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Support communication of process changes and ensure proper documentation and training materials are updated.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production inefficiencies alongside senior staff.
