Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solutions & Services Executive (SSE) – Smart Manufacturing to drive Lenovo’s growth across EMEA by expanding digital and intelligent manufacturing solutions within strategic global / large enterprise clients.

In this strategic, client-facing role, the SSE will own the end-to-end services relationship, lead complex multi-tower solution sales, and position Lenovo as a trusted partner in Industry 5.0 transformation. The role focuses on driving expansion within existing accounts while identifying new opportunities to scale Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, AI, and Industrial IoT solutions across the region.

Job Description - Role Overview

The SSE will lead and manage complex services engagements across Lenovo’s full Solutions & Services Group (SSG) portfolio, with a strong emphasis on Smart Manufacturing solutions including automation, robotics, AI, and digital supply chain transformation.

This role requires a consultative, acquisition-focused seller with a proven ability to develop strategic account plans, influence executive stakeholders, and close high-value, complex deals.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Market Development

· Lead business development and expansion of Smart Manufacturing solutions across large enterprise customers in EMEA

· Identify opportunities to drive digitalization, automation, and intelligent transformation across manufacturing value chains

· Build and expand executive-level relationships, positioning Lenovo as a trusted strategic advisor

Sales Strategy & Execution

· Develop and execute strategic account and territory sales plans aligned to revenue and growth targets

· Own the full sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure

· Manage complex RFPs/RFQs and ensure alignment with customer requirements and Lenovo’s services portfolio

Complex Solution Selling

· Lead multi-tower solution design across Hybrid Cloud, DaaS, IaaS, Digital Workplace Solutions, AI, and Smart Manufacturing technologies

· Partner with product, solution, and delivery teams to build tailored, outcome-based solutions

· Translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable, high-impact transformation initiatives

Account Leadership & Strategic Planning

· Operate as a key member of the account leadership team, partnering with Client Managers and cross-functional stakeholders

· Co-develop and execute account plans that drive long-term services adoption and revenue growth

· Drive land and expand strategies to grow Lenovo’s footprint within priority accounts

Customer Relationship Management

· Cultivate long-term relationships with CXO-level and senior stakeholders across manufacturing organizations

· Provide insights into customer needs, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to shape Lenovo’s offerings

· Position Lenovo as a thought leader in Smart Manufacturing and Industry 5.0

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution

· Coordinate regional and global teams across sales, finance, delivery, and partners to ensure successful deal execution

· Lead complex engagements involving Lenovo and third-party ecosystem partners

· Represent Lenovo at industry events and customer forums to drive brand presence in EMEA

Role Requirements - Experience & Expertise

· 8+ years of experience in solutions and services sales, preferably in IT services or digital transformation

· 3+ years of experience selling complex, multi-tower or enterprise solutions

· Proven track record of closing large, strategic deals and managing long sales cycles

· Experience working with manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or warehouse sectors

Industry & Technical Knowledge

· Strong understanding of Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies, including:

o Robotics, AGVs/AMRs, automation systems

o Industrial IoT and Digital Twin

o AI, computer vision, and analytics

o Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and digital supply chain ecosystems

· Familiarity with WMS/WES solutions and partner ecosystems is preferred

Sales & Consultative Skills

· Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

· Ability to articulate value, develop business cases, and guide customers through transformation journeys

· Proven success in opportunity qualification, pipeline development, and deal closure

· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

· Willingness to travel across EMEA as required

· Experience leading complex digital transformation programs for large enterprises with a focus on OT / Manufacturing Solutions

· Background in consulting, pre-sales, or strategic advisory roles

· Multilingual capabilities (English required; additional European languages are a strong advantage)
