Description and Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical design and engineering of server and storage products from architectural requirement analysis to mass production
  • Co-work with Hardware / Thermal / Layout / SV engineers to create mechanical-related and PCBA designs based on requirement analysis
  • Perform mechanical detail design including 3D/2D, material and process definition, and cable routing in both L10 systems and L11 racks
  • Mechanical part BoM, DFM/DFA review, tooling trial review and PPAP approval
  • Track projects and progress through regular reviews and meetings
  • Assist product cost control and cost-saving opportunity studies
  • Validate samples, problem solving, and build lessons learned records
  • Provide mechanical-related technical support to project teams and customers

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience, with bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Experience in developing products from architectural requirements to mass production, with rich DOE experience
  • Familiar with Tolerance Analysis, DFMEA, etc.
  • Skilled with Windchill and Creo tools
  • Work in a self-motivated manner and independently find the right direction to solve problems
  • Good documentation skills in both Chinese & English, with basic communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and project teams
