Description and Requirements

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing Gross-to-Net processes, ensuring accurate accounting, forecasting, reporting, and control of commercial investments, rebates, incentives, pricing programs, and channel claims. This role partners closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, Business Partners, and Regional Teams to drive financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across Lenovo's commercial programs.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Controls

  • Manage Gross-to-Net activities including rebates, channel incentives, promotions, market development funds (MDF), pricing adjustments, and other commercial programs.
  • Validate and approve rebate calculations, claims, accruals, and settlements.
  • Ensure compliance with Lenovo financial policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to GTN transactions.

Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary GTN finance partner for Sales, Channel Operations, Category Management, and Commercial Finance teams.
  • Provide financial guidance regarding channel programs, incentives, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with distributors, resellers, and internal stakeholders to resolve rebate disputes and operational discrepancies.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct financial analysis on channel investments, rebate spending, profitability, and revenue impact.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for senior management.
  • Analyze trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve Gross-to-Net performance.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision-making.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Support GTN forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Monitor actual spending versus forecast and explain variances.
  • Partner with regional and country finance teams to ensure accurate financial projections and accruals.

Process Improvement

  • Lead initiatives to automate and streamline GTN processes.
  • Identify process gaps and implement solutions that improve efficiency, controls, and reporting accuracy.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to systems enhancements and financial transformation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Finance, Commercial Finance, Revenue Management, Pricing, FP&A, Accounting, or Gross-to-Net functions.
  • Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology, consumer electronics, manufacturing, or multinational environments.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition, rebates, channel incentives, and commercial finance processes.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other data analytics tools.
