Description and Requirements

Procurement Strategy Project Manager

This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in highly complex, cross-functional environments and enjoy leading strategic initiatives across engineering, product development, supply chain, and procurement functions. You will serve as a key program leader, influencing product decisions from concept through mass production while ensuring cost competitiveness, supply readiness, and business success.

What You'll Do

Lead Strategic Cross-Functional Programs

  • Act as the Procurement Program Lead within new product development teams, partnering closely with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Procurement stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment across diverse teams to ensure products are delivered on schedule, meet business objectives, and achieve operational readiness.
  • Lead discussions, facilitate decision-making, and influence stakeholders without direct authority in a highly matrixed global environment.

Own Product Commercial & Supply Strategy

  • Shape sourcing and supply strategies throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development to production ramp.
  • Provide strategic guidance on:
    • Product cost structure
    • Supplier ecosystem strategy
    • Multi-sourcing approaches
    • Supply continuity planning
    • Commercial risk mitigation
  • Influence product design and sourcing decisions that improve competitiveness, flexibility, and long-term scalability.

Drive New Product Introduction (NPI)

  • Partner with product and engineering teams during the entire NPI lifecycle.
  • Analyze the impact of design changes, market conditions, and supply constraints on program execution.
  • Ensure procurement and supply chain readiness while supporting rapid product evolution in fast-moving AI and data center environments.

Manage Complex Stakeholder Ecosystems

  • Coordinate priorities across multiple teams with competing objectives.
  • Resolve conflicts, drive trade-off decisions, and build consensus among technical and business stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor who brings together diverse perspectives to achieve the best outcome for the program.

Anticipate Risk & Enable Execution Excellence

  • Identify potential supply, supplier, commercial, and execution risks early in the development cycle.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop mitigation plans that protect project milestones and launch commitments.
  • Maintain agility and execution discipline in a rapidly changing technology landscape.

What Makes You Successful

We're looking for someone who combines strong program management capability with strategic business thinking.

Core Competencies

  • Cross-functional Program Management
  • Stakeholder Management & Influence
  • Executive Communication
  • Conflict Resolution & Negotiation

Preferred Experience

You may come from backgrounds such as:

  • Technical Program Management

You will function as a strategic program leader, helping shape next-generation AI platforms by connecting technology, business strategy, supplier ecosystems, and global execution teams.
