Description and Requirements

Role Overview

As MEA Desktop 4P Manager for the Commercial business, you will lead Lenovo’s desktop portfolio strategy across the Middle East and Africa. The role is responsible for defining and executing the right product, pricing, promotion, and channel plans to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, strengthen market share, and reinforce Lenovo’s competitive position across countries and territories.
Key Responsibilities
  • 4P Strategy and Business Planning: Define and execute the MEA Commercial Desktop 4P strategy across product portfolio, pricing, channel placement, and promotional planning.
  • Revenue and Profitability Management: Manage product line-up, pricing, promotions, rebates, and sales programs to support revenue growth, margin improvement, and profitable mix expansion.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular market, customer, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities, sharpen product positioning, and differentiate Lenovo’s desktop offerings.
  • Forecasting and Supply Alignment: Lead desktop demand forecasting with country and territory sales teams, ensuring alignment with sales plans, supply availability, inventory health, and aged inventory targets.
  • Sales and Channel Execution: Partner with country and territory sales teams to support weekly sales-out priorities, stock reviews, campaign execution, channel pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with regional and global product teams, marketing, alliances, operations, and sales stakeholders to implement commercial desktop strategies and support business growth initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Track performance against revenue, profitability, product mix, inventory, and market share objectives, and recommend corrective actions where required to stay on plan.
  • Customer and Product Positioning: Support sales and customer discussions by understanding business needs, recommending suitable desktop solutions, and positioning Lenovo offerings effectively against alternatives.
Position Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, 4P, business management, commercial channel management, or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial PC business, desktop portfolio management, and channel dynamics across the Middle East and Africa.
  • Proven ability to manage pricing, promotions, rebates, product mix, forecasting, and business performance against revenue and profitability targets.
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into clear business insights and actions.
  • Good understanding of financial metrics, P&L drivers, inventory KPIs, margin management, and business planning processes.
  • Effective communicator and influencer, able to present strategies, recommendations, and product positioning clearly to sales teams, leadership, and business partners.
