Description and Requirements

Position Summary
The AI Services Finance Controller serves as the primary finance business partner for the AI Services organization, providing financial leadership for a high-volume, rapidly evolving business. Although the AI Services portfolio represents a relatively small portion of the overall business, it requires dedicated financial oversight due to its complexity, evolving processes, and strategic importance.
This role partners closely with Offering, Sales, Delivery, Treasury, Corporate Finance, and Controllership teams to provide financial insights, establish scalable financial processes, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and deliver consolidated AI Services financial reporting to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Business Partnership
  • Serve as the primary finance business partner supporting the AI Services leadership team.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, monthly performance reviews, and management reporting for the AI Services business
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making across the offering organization.
  • Develop business cases and financial analyses for strategic investments, new offerings, and growth initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to offering, sales, and delivery leaders on financial performance and business strategy.
Revenue Management & Financial Reporting
  • Own the consolidation and reporting of AI Services revenue across approximately ten business teams.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete AI Services revenue reporting for Corporate Finance, executive leadership, and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Develop KPI reporting and executive-level financial insights to communicate business performance.
  • Establish governance over AI Services revenue tracking and reporting processes.
Commercial Finance Support
  • Support commercial decision-making through pricing analysis, deal reviews, cost modeling, and profitability assessments.
  • Provide cost insights and financial recommendations to optimize business performance.
  • Partner with sales and delivery organizations to evaluate project financial performance and improve profitability.
Financial Controls & Process Development
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve finance processes for a rapidly growing AI Services business where financial processes are still maturing.
  • Develop scalable system and process flows to support revenue recognition and financial reporting.
  • Perform and oversee manual journal entries and other accounting activities where automation has not yet been established.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and revenue recognition requirements while identifying opportunities for process automation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate finance activities across multiple organizations to ensure complete and accurate AI Services financial reporting.
  • Partner with Treasury, Corporate Finance, Controllership, and Accounting teams on funding, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate cost transfers, intercompany transactions, and other cross-functional financial activities.
  • Act as the central liaison connecting finance stakeholders across the AI Services organization.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience and a strong background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), controllership, or commercial finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial controls.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to influence strategic and operational decisions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build and improve financial processes within a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience supporting professional services, consulting, or technology services organizations.
  • AI Services or AI-related business finance experience.
  • Experience consolidating financial information across multiple organizations or business units.
  • Experience with pricing strategy, deal support, and project profitability analysis.
  • Experience working in large global organizations such as IBM or similar enterprise technology companies.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
