In this role, you’ll design and deliver end-to-end Generative and Agentic AI systems, working with advanced models (LLMs, SLMs, VLMs) across cloud, on-premise, and edge environments, while ensuring scalability, security, and high engineering standards.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally, contributing to solution design, innovation, and pre-sales initiatives. This role reports to the Director, SSG AI Offerings and offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technologies within a dynamic, enterprise-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Generative and Agentic AI solutions aligned with Lenovo’s strategy and enterprise technical standards
- Design and build end-to-end AI systems, including architectures, inference engines, agents, and user interfaces
- Work with LLMs (Large Language Models), SLMs (Small Language Models), and VLMs (Vision Language Models), leveraging MCP and open-source frameworks
- Integrate AI solutions into existing platforms across cloud, on-premise, and edge environments
- Identify and implement the right AI tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve solution performance and efficiency
- Ensure strong security practices, including data encryption, access control, and vulnerability assessments
- Apply AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations) and development best practices across both experimental and production environments
- Support pre-sales activities (RFP/RFI – Request for Proposal / Request for Information), solution design, documentation, and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in AI development across domains such as data science, machine learning, NLP (Natural Language Processing), computer vision, or Generative AI
- 2+ years building end-to-end Generative AI solutions, including multi-modal use cases using cloud-based and open-source models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Hugging Face, AWS Bedrock)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) and AI solution deployment in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies (GPUs, CUDA, TensorRT) and integration of NVIDIA AI Enterprise tools in on-premise setups is a plus
- Strong understanding of cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including containerization and scaling with Kubernetes
- Proven experience with MLOps, LLMOps, or AIOps, and managing CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab
- Strong programming skills in Python, React, and scripting languages, with ability to build scalable and production-ready solutions
