Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Feature Development & Customization: Design, develop, and maintain UEFI/BIOS firmware features tailored to specific customer requirements and next-generation server architectures.
  • Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key technical liaison. Work closely with customers, project managers, hardware engineers, and BMC teams to clarify specifications, define technical scopes, and co-develop solutions.
  • System Debugging & Root Cause Analysis: Perform deep-level debugging for complex system issues across the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Factory & NPI Support: Provide firmware troubleshooting and technical support during factory build events (NPI/MP) to resolve production-line issues and ensure smooth manufacturing processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of working experience.
  • Solid programming skills in C language.
  • Experience with UEFI architecture, EDK II framework, and server platforms (Intel/AMD/ARM).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience using hardware debuggers (e.g., ITP, JTAG) and analyzing system logs (dmesg, SEL).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to discuss complex technical details with internal teams and external customers.
