Description and Requirements


Join Lenovo's Solutions & Services Group (SSG) as a Senior Solutions & Services Executive - Sports Vertical and play a key role in driving the growth of our services and solutions business across the Sports industry. Reporting to the Director, Solution Sales, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strategic relationships with sports clubs, leagues, federations, venues, and media organizations. Leveraging Lenovo's portfolio of Digital Workplace, Data Center, AI, and managed services solutions, you will help customers accelerate their digital transformation journeys while positioning Lenovo as a trusted partner for innovation, business growth, and AI-driven transformation within the Sports ecosystem.
What You Will Do:

  • Develop and grow Lenovo's Services business within the Sports vertical by identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities across clubs, leagues, federations, and sports organizations.
  • Act as the primary sales hunter, building a strong pipeline of new logos and whitespace opportunities while driving revenue growth through strategic customer engagement.
  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and leverage industry networks to position Lenovo as a long-term technology, services, and AI transformation partner.
  • Lead the design and execution of complex services solutions by coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning customer needs with Lenovo’s capabilities and business objectives.
  • Drive sales of Digital Workplace, Data Center, AI, and managed services solutions, utilizing Lenovo’s full portfolio and partner ecosystem to deliver maximum customer value.
  • Expand and deepen relationships within existing Sports accounts, increasing wallet share, identifying upsell opportunities, and creating long-term growth strategies.
  • Shape, position, and close AI-driven use cases, including automation, predictive analytics, digital assistants, AI infrastructure, fan engagement, performance analytics, and smart venue solutions.
  • Manage opportunities through Lenovo’s governance process, collaborate closely with sales teams, business partners, and executives, and ensure all deals are financially sound, strategically aligned, and successfully delivered.
What You Will Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience selling professional and managed services solutions, ideally across Digital Workplace, Device-as-a-Service, Data Center, or related technology services.
  • Fluent English and Italian language skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and present effectively to diverse customer audiences.
  • Expertise in territory and account management, including opportunity qualification, pipeline development, stakeholder engagement, value-based selling, and strategic account planning.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively across all organizational levels, from technical teams and finance stakeholders to senior executives and C-level decision-makers.
  • Trusted advisor mindset with the ability to guide customers through digital, business, and AI transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to articulate business value, build compelling customer propositions, and position Lenovo’s solutions within broader industry and business transformation strategies.
  • Solid understanding of AI and Generative AI technologies, including experience identifying, shaping, or selling AI-driven solutions and translating AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes, with familiarity across AI ecosystems, hyperscalers, security, data governance, compliance, sustainability, and partner landscapes.
  • Understanding of the Sports ecosystem, supported by an established industry network in Italy and experience engaging senior stakeholders to develop opportunities across fan engagement, athlete performance, venue operations, and media-related use cases.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €85260–113680 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Italy and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process.
In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities.
For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
