Description and Requirements

1. Independently complete the entire product design process, with a focus on tablet design scenarios — including but not limited to the design of foldable/unfoldable tablet form factors, grip-friendly body structures, and modular component layouts (e.g., detachable keyboard interfaces, stylus storage slots) that align with user usage habits (such as one-handed operation, multi-angle standing). Leverage AI design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Stable Diffusion) to quickly generate preliminary form scheme drafts for tablets, and use AI-assisted analysis tools to evaluate the ergonomic rationality of grip curves or stand structures in the early design stage.

2. Possess good aesthetics, dare to innovate, make design proposals that are in line with product positioning (especially for tablets targeting different user groups: e.g., lightweight portability for student tablets, durable & productivity-focused designs for business tablets), and be able to complete the construction of design themes (e.g., minimalist tech style for flagship tablets, playful color schemes for kids’ tablets). Utilize AI to assist in trend analysis (e.g., using AI tools to extract popular color palettes, material textures in the tablet industry) and optimize design themes to ensure alignment with market preferences.

3. Excellent design expression, including but not limited to rendering (accurate presentation of tablet screen bezels, hinge details, and material textures), hand drawing (quick sketching of tablet interaction prototypes like stand mode/tablet mode switching), and clay painting (physical modeling of tablet grip curves and thickness transitions). Proficient in using AI-enhanced design software (e.g., AI plugins for Rhino, KeyShot AI rendering) to improve efficiency — such as using AI to automatically generate multiple rendering effects of tablet materials (e.g., matte vs. glossy back covers) or optimize the lighting of tablet product renderings.

4. Project management and communication: Possess a sense of schedule and process, undertake internal and external communication and cooperation related to the project (including PM, CMF, RD, supplier, etc.) — with a focus on coordinating with RD teams to resolve tablet-specific technical constraints (e.g., balancing screen size with portability, optimizing hinge durability for foldable tablets) and aligning with CMF teams on material selections for tablet bodies (e.g., anti-fingerprint coatings, shock-resistant fabrics). Use AI collaboration tools to organize design iteration records (e.g., AI-based version control and comment summary) and improve the efficiency of cross-team review of tablet design deliverables.

5. Participate in the formulation of design strategies: Based on insights into clients (e.g., student demand for lightweight, long-battery-life tablets; professional demand for high-precision stylus support), industry conditions (e.g., trends in foldable tablet hinges, mini-LED screen integration), and trends, plan the annual project design (including tablet product line updates and innovative form factor exploration). Use AI data analysis tools to process user feedback on existing tablets, extract core pain points (e.g., grip fatigue, slow stand deployment), and provide data support for the formulation of design strategies.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Design or Art Design; Those with overseas study experience are preferred.

2. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in consumer electronics products; Experience in tablet design or computer accessories closely related to tablets (e.g., detachable keyboards, active styluses) is preferred; Familiarity with user pain points in tablet scenarios (e.g., grip fatigue, stand stability) is a plus.

3. Knowledge of manufacturing processes for commonly used materials in electronic products, with in-depth understanding of tablet-specific processes — such as CNC machining for aluminum alloy tablet frames, injection molding for plastic back covers, and lamination processes for 2.5D/3D curved screens. Ability to use AI process simulation tools to predict potential production issues of tablet designs (e.g., AI simulation of injection molding defects for tablet back covers) and optimize designs in advance.

4. Excellent aesthetics and creativity, strong design expression ability — able to propose innovative solutions for tablet form factors (e.g., foldable multi-screen combinations, integrated stand structures) and accurately present design details (e.g., tablet button layout, port positioning). Master the ability to use AI for auxiliary generation : proficient in using AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, DALL-E) to generate creative inspiration for tablet designs, convert text descriptions of tablet concepts (e.g., "ultra-thin tablet with hidden stylus storage") into visual drafts, and iterate and optimize based on AI outputs.

5. Proficient in applying AI software for auxiliary design : Skilled in using AI-enhanced industrial design tools, such as Rhino with AI modeling plugins (e.g., Grasshopper AI for parametric design of tablet hinges), KeyShot AI for intelligent rendering of tablet products, and Photoshop AI for optimizing tablet design sketches; Familiar with AI ergonomic analysis tools (e.g., AI-based hand-grip simulation software) to evaluate the comfort of tablet grip designs.

6. English should be used as the working language and accessible English communication is required — able to communicate with international teams on tablet design standards (e.g., global ergonomic specifications) and trend research, and use English to operate international AI design tools or read AI design-related technical documents.

7. Excellent logical analysis ability and sense of responsibility — able to analyze and optimize trade-offs in tablet design (e.g., between screen size, weight, and battery capacity) with the assistance of AI data analysis tools, and ensure design feasibility in mass production.

8. Skilled in communication and sharing, great sense of team spirit — able to collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., software teams for tablet UI-hardware interaction alignment, marketing teams for tablet user positioning) to drive design implementation, and share experience in AI-assisted tablet design with team members to improve overall team efficiency.

9. Able to efficiently and proficiently use design tools such as Rhino, KeyShot, PS, etc. — proficient in using Rhino to model complex tablet structures (e.g., foldable hinges, stylus storage cavities) and KeyShot to render realistic tablet material effects (e.g., matte glass, brushed metal), and combine AI tools to optimize the accuracy and efficiency of modeling and rendering.
