Description and Requirements

This position will be part of the headquarters of the International Sales Organization. The Project Manager will facilitate and own the delivery of key strategic, complex and diverse projects to support the achievement of the channel ecosystem transformation and harmonization strategic objectives.

Working with multiple teams across worldwide business units, sales and channel teams, this individual will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, defining and owning the BMS, organizing and motivating the project team and the identification and delivery of solutions with strong mindset of outcome-based execution.

This position calls for a channel management experienced professional who can challenge the status quo, lead changes, drive commitments to keep timelines and is able to communicate to all levels in the business. The ability to independently manage complex interactions and situations is essential. This position will report to the Project Management Director based in China.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead transformational projects for the International Sales and Channel Organization
  • Own and drive all aspects of project management activity, managing key strategic projects across multiple teams within the international sales teams, Lenovo geographies and business units
  • Work within the framework of standard Project Management methodology processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead the project team, drive the key initiatives and actions to resolve roadblocks and deliver the committed project results
  • Drive substantial business improvement and enhance partner and customer experience through solid project planning, complex problem solving and innovative thinking
  • Provide clear and transparent communication to key stakeholders at all stages of the project
  • Manage multiple, medium to large projects with varying complexity

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Five plus years of experience in project management in large, multi-national, preferably tech organizations
  • Three plus years of experience in channel management or channel operations related work
  • Strong ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrable transformation or strategic change skills with high solution orientation
  • Excellent cross group collaboration skills and proven ability to lead a virtual team located in multiple countries, experience in an international working environment is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences including the senior leadership team
  • Self-starter mentality with a high degree of follow through - can own and take tasks through to completion
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Professional fluency in English
