Description and Requirements

Role Purpose

The Distribution Lead will be responsible for driving consumer business growth through the T2 distribution ecosystem, managing regional distributors, sub-distributors, and partner networks. The role will focus on sell-in, sell-out, channel expansion, partner profitability, market share growth, inventory management, and execution excellence across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution & Channel Management

  • Drive consumer business through regional distributors, sub-distributors, and T2 partner ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute distribution strategies to maximize market coverage and market share.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners to strengthen regional presence.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key channel stakeholders.

Business Growth & Revenue Delivery

  • Own revenue, sell-in, sell-out, and market share targets for the assigned territory.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans.
  • Drive premium mix, portfolio expansion, and category growth initiatives.
  • Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions to close gaps.

Partner Engagement & Expansion

  • Develop partner engagement programs to improve channel productivity and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with distributors and key partners.
  • Enable channel partners through training, incentive programs, and strategic initiatives.

Retail & Market Development

  • Expand channel reach and improve retail coverage.
  • Ensure visibility, merchandising standards, and execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Drive placement of key products across priority retail outlets and partner stores.

Inventory & Operational Excellence

  • Monitor distributor inventory, stock health, ageing, and forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and finance teams for seamless execution.

Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
  • Provide actionable insights to business leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Identify growth opportunities within assigned territories and partner segments.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop field sales teams, distributor sales teams, and channel resources.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance management mechanisms.
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on execution excellence.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Consumer Electronics / IT Hardware / Mobility / Telecom / Consumer Durables.
  • Strong experience in:
    • Distribution Sales
    • Channel Management
    • T2 & T3 Ecosystem Management
    • Retail Sales
    • Partner Development
    • Market Expansion

Preferred Companies

Lenovo, HP, Dell, Asus, Acer, Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple Distribution, Redington, Ingram Micro, Savex, Rashi Peripherals, Neoteric, Supertron, Jio, Airtel or similar channel-led organizations.
