Description and Requirements

We are seeking a Product & Business Development Manager Consumer Tablets (m/f/d) to lead Lenovo’s consumer tablet portfolio strategy, business planning, and business development across Germany and Austria (GAT). The role owns end-to-end Product, Price, Place, and Promotion (4P) for consumer tablets while actively driving new business opportunities, channel expansion, and partnership growth to scale the segment profitably.

You will develop and execute tailored product mix, pricing, channel, and promotional plans—not only to maintain the current Consumer Tablets business, but to actively grow and scale this segment, expand Lenovo’s market position in GAT, and unlock new revenue streams across retail, e-tail, and telco environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • 4P Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Define and execute the GAT Consumer Tablets 4P strategy; translate regional/EMEA roadmaps into local go-to-market (GTM) plans, managing the full product lifecycle from high-impact launches to disciplined end-of-life (EOL) execution.

  • Revenue, Margin & Attach Growth: Manage product lineups, pricing, promos, rebates, and bundle concepts to drive revenue and profit margins, while actively expanding attach rates (accessories, options, services, and extended warranties).

  • Channel & Business Development: Identify and execute strategic business development opportunities, co-branded initiatives, and channel expansion across Retail (Mass Merchandise, Consumer Electronics, Computer Shops), E-commerce, Telco (OER/TCR), and Distributors.

  • Direct E-Commerce & Telco Scaling: Accelerate direct growth on Lenovo.com (aligning on portfolio, pricing, promos, and customer experience) and strengthen partnerships in Telecommunication Retail (OER/TCR) to position tablets as key consumer devices.

  • Market Intelligence & Positioning: Conduct regular market and competitive analysis using GfK data, activation tracking, and EMEA insights to sharpen local product positioning against alternatives and inform 4P decisions.

  • Forecasting & Inventory Health: Lead consumer tablet demand forecasting with GAT sales teams, tracking key KPIs (units, mix, AUR, revenue, margin) while managing inventory health, aged inventory targets, and supply availability.

  • Go-To-Market & Partner Incentives: Develop tailored channel expansion programs, exclusive assortments, GTM execution strategies, and partner incentive plans to support volume and option growth.

  • Cross-Functional & Commercial Alignment: Align target planning, marketing campaign calendars, and promo investments with EMEA Business Management and Marketing, while partnering with the Commercial team to leverage market synergies.

  • Sales Enablement & Account Management: Conduct joint customer visits with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to support account planning, business reviews, and key negotiations, while enabling local sales teams with clear product recommendations.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, 4P, business development, or channel management—ideally within mobile/consumer devices or tablets.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Market & Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of consumer PC/tablet portfolio management and GAT channel dynamics (Mass Merchandise, CE, Computer Shops, E-tail, Telco/OER/TCR).

  • Financial & Commercial Track Record: Proven track record in multi-channel sales execution, pricing/rebate management, demand forecasting, P&L drivers, and managing profitability targets.

  • Analytical & Data Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and detail orientation, with high proficiency in MS Excel and hands-on experience using Power BI/reporting tools to build dashboards, track KPIs, and drive data-backed decisions.

  • Communication & Influence: Superior verbal and written communication skills in both English and German, with proven ability to present strategy and influence leadership, sales teams, and external partners.

  • Mindset & Adaptability: Action-oriented, results-driven mindset with the demonstrated ability to deliver effectively within a fast-paced matrix organization.
