About the Role

To achieve this ambition, Lenovo is seeking a senior Go-to-Market Program Director to lead the design, orchestration, and implementation of the ISO GTM blueprint across geographies, markets, and functions. Reporting directly to the VP, Sales Transformation & Enablement, ISO, this leader will be responsible for translating the GTM strategy into an executable deployment program, aligning stakeholders around future-state operating models, and ensuring geos and markets are ready to move from blueprint to implementation.

The Director will establish and operationalize key job profiles, role expectations, and skills frameworks for priority sales roles, including Client Managers, ISG and PCSD Solution Sellers, Technical Specialists, and related specialist roles. The role will also champion the evolution of Lenovo’s technical sales organization blueprint, ensuring the right technical capability, role separation, and workload specialization are in place to support solution selling, customer intimacy, and scalable execution.

This position has a hybrid schedule based out of Morrisville, NC with 3 onsite and 2 remote days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, governance, and implementation of the ISO GTM blueprint across geos and markets, translating strategic blueprint recommendations into practical execution plans
  • Establish, refine, and govern key job profiles and role expectations for priority GTM roles
  • Partner with HR, Sales Leadership, and enablement teams to define required skills, competencies, knowledge areas, and assessment inputs for future-state sales roles.
  • Champion the technical sales organization blueprint, including role clarity, coverage principles, workload specialization, technical sales capacity, and alignment of technical resources to customer and partner engagement needs
  • Ensure each geo and market has a clear path to blueprint implementation, including territory guidance, account coverage implications, role-mix planning, seller readiness, and operating model adoption.
  • Influence and advise senior leadership on critical decisions, trade-offs, risks, and dependencies related to GTM design, organization evolution and market deployment.
  • Define and manage governance mechanisms to monitor blueprint adoption, execution risks, role deployment and alignment to business outcomes.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to senior executives, geo leaders, market leaders, sales managers, HR partners, and cross-functional audiences
  • Prepare and deliver executive business reviews, program updates, decision documents, and recommendations for senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive people and program management experience in a matrixed global organization.
  • 10+ years of Experience leading GTM programs, digital transformation for sales, sales strategy experience in the technology sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive people and program management experience in a matrixed global organization.
  • 15+ years of Experience leading GTM programs, digital transformation for sales, sales strategy experience in the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex global and cross-functional transformation programs with senior Executive visibility.
  • Experience partnering with HR and sales leadership on talent assessment, role transitions, skills mapping, upskilling, and change adoption.
  • Strong understanding of sales operating models, GTM coverage design, sales roles and sales capability development.
  • Strong project management skillset with ability to deliver high-quality business reviews, executive readouts, program updates, and decision recommendations.
  • Strong written and spoken presence.
  • Strong conflict resolution skillset demonstrating cultural Competency working across European, Chinese, American, Desi, and South American cultural contexts, ensuring messages are communicated with clarity and tact.
  • Strong judgement and the ability to manage through ambiguity, complexity, conflicting priorities, and market-specific nuance.
  • Experience and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Experience and ability to build strong commitments with senior stakeholders, leadership, corporate and enablement teams.
  • Experience elevating and recognizing internal partnerships.
  • Pragmatic and collaborative leadership style desired.
  • MBA degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field strongly preferred.

They will be comfortable challenging legacy models, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and turning blueprint concepts into plans that markets can execute. They will combine commercial judgement, transformation discipline, and strong people leadership to help Lenovo build a clearer, more scalable, and more technically capable GTM organization.
