Description and Requirements

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, to lead a highly talented team of 4P colleagues across Europe & META digital commerce. The 4P team is crucial to the digital commerce success, driving the strategy and execution for assortment, pricing, promotion and ordering. You will work collaboratively with the rest of the Europe & META digital commerce leaders as well as other Lenovo leaders worldwide, ensure alignment across countries, and be a key part of the quarter & year cycle planning. You will be a key interface between the Europe & META digital commerce 4P leadership team, Sr. Online Sales Managers, your own 4P team, and, most critically, the regional product and 4P leadership community, being responsible for achieving the top-line performance objectives along 4P pillars.

Job responsibilities:

This is a key role on the Europe & META digital commerce 4P team with responsibility to:

GENERAL

  • Create a business 4P strategy (incl. portfolio, pricing, promotions, orders, stock planning)
  • Be one of the voices of data-driven decision making in the ecommerce leadership team
  • Ensure full alignment of 4P strategy and high quality of execution across countries and with digital commerce sales teams and global 4P teams
  • Organize and lead your directly reporting 4P team, including coaching / mentoring
  • Consistently identify opportunities along the 4P pillars across the countries and different routes to market

4P

  • Product: work with our product team to drive the right online product portfolio on Lenovo.com web
    • Translate sales results and customers’ needs to product requirements in the product design and portfolio definition stage
    • Identify product opportunities for our online business to help Europe & META achieve financial targets – including definition of the optimal mix and exclusives opportunities
    • Forecast key products supply for Global Digital Commerce with your local 4P team – at Series, sub-Series and Part Number / SKU level.
  • Price: Determine the appropriate pricing strategy for the products across the countries
  • Promotion: Work with marketing and sales teams to drive best practices in product promotion and help deliver a market-leading execution of defined campaign plans.
  • Planning: Coordinate supply of key products sold through Lenovo.com, integrating with regional planning processes to optimise alignment and maximise planning efficiency

Requirements

Candidates must be comfortable with data and complex portfolios, great relationship builders and collaborators, impactful and inspiring people managers. You will need to build and optimise multiple stakeholders relationships across the business, and outside of digital commerce. The success of this role depends in many ways on different teams’ full support and collaboration. This is a high-impact opportunity to drive results in a challenging but rewarding landscape. Candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • E-commerce experience & leadership
    • 5+ years of previous eCommerce experience. Prefer experience working at a large scaleeCommerce business.
    • Proven track record in managing product portfolio and planning / category management
    • Strong coordination skills to solve problems involved in multifunctional teams
    • Strong team management / leadership skills: providing direction, setting targets, team coaching, career management
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-paced environment where innovation is expected
  • PC portfolio and pricing management (4P)
    • Fluency in working with PC portfolios, product lifecycle, ordering supply
    • Ability to create or challenge pricing and promotion models
    • Depth of understanding of the PCs market
  • Project Management
    • Previous experience managing large and small projects concurrently
    • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
    • Strong self-initiative with the ability to identify areas of improvement with little direction.
  • Communication
    • Excellent communication succinctly to broader organization and senior executive / c-level
    • Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Problem Solving/Analytical Thinking
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking are required to maximize results and productivity
    • Strong track record of performance analytics and making data driven decisions to continually optimize and drive revenue
    • Ability to deal with organizational ambiguity and change
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree. MBA or equivalent preferred
