Description and Requirements

The FP&A Specialist supports financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management to enable informed decision‑making and drive strategic business outcomes. The role collaborates closely with finance, business, and operational teams to ensure accurate insights, strong data governance, and continuous improvement of financial processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial planning — Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
  • Financial modeling — Build, maintain, and improve financial models and planning tools
  • Forecast analysis — Evaluate assumptions, risks, and opportunities within forecasts
  • Performance reporting — Prepare structured management reports and dashboards (actuals vs. plan vs. forecast)
  • Variance analysis — Deliver clear variance insights and actionable recommendations
  • Business partnering — Provide financial support for operational and strategic decision‑making
  • Stakeholder communication — Present timely and concise financial updates to business teams
  • Data governance — Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across financial systems
  • Reconciliation — Support alignment between planning tools and actual accounting data
  • Process improvement — Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate FP&A processes

What We Need From You

  • Education — Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Experience — 1–2 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Finance Analytics (preferred)
  • Technical skills — Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities
  • Systems knowledge — Experience with financial systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Analytical competencies — Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Communication & mindset — Clear communication of financial insights and a proactive, structured, results‑oriented approach

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €17000–24860 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process.
In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities.
For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
