Description and Requirements


The Pricing Analyst acts as a guardian of the P&L and a commercial partner to the Sales organization. The role ensures rigorous bid review, accurate pricing, and commercially sound decision‑making within the assigned delegation matrix. By combining financial modeling, cost analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration, the Pricing Analyst helps to maximize profitability, strengthen win rates, and support Lenovo’s commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal governance — Review and sign off deals within delegated authority; escalate to Profit Manager/CFO when required
  • Opportunity assessment — Conduct detailed reviews of customer requirements with Sales to validate scope and pricing approach
  • Pricing methodology — Ensure the correct pricing strategy is applied to each opportunity
  • Profit maximization — Optimize bid profitability through strong understanding of cost structures and component roadmaps
  • Configuration validation — Review proposed product configurations to ensure compliance and prevent unnecessary cost additions
  • Commercial support — Provide clear commercial responses for customer tenders and Lenovo bid documents
  • Risk review — Partner with Profit Managers and Legal to evaluate non‑standard deal risks and incorporate outcomes into pricing
  • Financial modeling — Build and adjust pricing and cost models in Excel, applying appropriate cost adjustments
  • Price setting — Ensure pricing decisions reflect market requirements, historical precedent, and due diligence
  • Cost analysis — Analyze component cost environments to guide the most economically advantageous offering
  • Sales partnering — Provide commercial guidance to Sales to strengthen deal quality and competitiveness

What We Need From You
  • Education — Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience — 3+ years in Pricing, Sales Operations or Commercial roles
  • Technical skills — Strong Excel capabilities and comfort with financial modeling
  • Systems knowledge — Experience with pricing tools, financial systems, or analytics platforms;
  • Communication & mindset — Clear communication, structured working style, readiness to learn, and a proactive, commercially oriented approach

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €22700–33220 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process.
In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities.
For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
