Description and Requirements


Lenovo Solutions & Services Group (SSG) is looking for a data-driven and business-oriented Reporting & Business Data Analyst to join our Europe & META Services organization. Reporting to the Senior Europe & META Services Ops Manager, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable business insights that drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making. Partnering with Services Operations leaders, business managers, and global stakeholders, you will design advanced Power BI reporting solutions, optimize data processes, drive automation initiatives, and deliver analytics that help shape the future of Lenovo's services business. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional who enjoys combining data expertise with business partnership to create measurable impact across a global organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Reporting & Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights, support operational and executive decision-making, and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Data Engineering & Integration: Develop and maintain Power BI Dataflows, semantic models, and SQL-based solutions, integrating data from multiple enterprise systems while supporting data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and modeling activities.

  • Business Intelligence & KPI Management: Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, create meaningful KPIs and performance metrics, and deliver insights that drive business performance and strategic decision-making.

  • Automation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes, optimize reporting frameworks, and support governance, documentation, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Services Operations leaders, business managers, and global stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, present analytical findings, and provide guidance and training to report users.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering, delivering reporting solutions that support operational and business decision-making.

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development, data visualization, Power BI Dataflows, semantic models, and report optimization.

  • Strong SQL skills, with hands-on experience creating complex queries, stored procedures, data extraction processes, and performance optimization.

  • Experience integrating and consolidating data from multiple enterprise systems and databases, with a strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and cleansing techniques.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights, meaningful KPIs, and executive-level reporting.

  • Experience driving reporting automation and process improvements, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance data accessibility.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to gather business requirements, present findings, and influence decision-making across various management levels.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment, balancing technical expertise with business partnership while providing guidance, training, and support to report users.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €37800–55440 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process.
In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities.
For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
