Channel Account Executive, CDW Healthcare
As a Channel Account Executive for Lenovo, you'll be responsible for growing the indirect business in the U.S. in partnership with CDW Healthcare to drive revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction while achieving assigned quarterly business targets.
You will champion the innovative power of Lenovo's solutions across Client, Infrastructure, and Services, helping healthcare organizations improve clinician productivity, operational efficiency, patient experiences, and digital transformation outcomes.
You will understand Lenovo's portfolio of award-winning solutions and develop strategies to help CDW identify and implement the best technology solutions in Healthcare. This is a channel sales role requiring deep industry experience and expertise in closing complex opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in strategic selling, business development, and account management, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. They will demonstrate team-building and leadership capabilities while managing multiple complex sales engagements concurrently.
The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be imaginative, strategic, passionate, and approachable. Channel sales experience is required, and a strong working knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, channel partnerships, distribution, and industry trends is preferred.
This position will require travel and will support CDW & Lenovo Healthcare sales teams throughout the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies and establish aggressive growth objectives within key healthcare markets.
- Achieve Lenovo revenue and profitability goals by driving sales through our largest channel partner.
- Build executive-level relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to channel partners and healthcare stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to enhance channel sales while articulating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), return on investment (ROI), and healthcare technology trends.
- Ensure customers receive exceptional sales support and operational service throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Build and execute complex sales strategies that support both short-term objectives and long-term growth goals.
- Align with CDW & Lenovo Healthcare leadership and sellers to understand provider, payer, and healthcare customer requirements and deliver successful business outcomes.
- Partner with Lenovo Client, Infrastructure, and Services teams to create solutions that address healthcare priorities including cybersecurity, endpoint modernization, AI adoption, data center modernization, virtual care, and workforce productivity.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of technology sales experience, including PCs, Workstations, Servers, Storage, Solutions, and Services.
Preferred Requirements
- Previous channel sales experience working with or selling through a business partner.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated team-building and leadership abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving multi-million-dollar quarterly sales quotas.
- Experience driving sales for a challenger technology brand; infrastructure experience preferred.
- Strong financial acumen and operational management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with strong data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and navigate conflict effectively.
- Proven success developing and executing strategic account plans that drive measurable business results.
- Ability and willingness to travel to partner and customer locations as needed.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred, including experience supporting healthcare providers, health systems, payer organizations, or healthcare technology initiatives.
- Understanding of healthcare market dynamics, regulatory considerations, and digital transformation trends is a plus.
