Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Propose innovative product design concepts for notebook PCs, tablets, and future device experiences
  • Understand user and business needs and translate them into design concepts and design directions
  • Explore and develop ideas through sketching, visualization, prototyping, and design studies
  • Create compelling design stories and presentation materials to communicate design concepts effectively
  • Develop mock-ups, 3D models, and CG renderings to visualize and evaluate design concepts
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, UX designers, product planners, marketing teams, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in the design process from early-stage concept development through product commercialization

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product design, industrial design, or a comparable portfolio demonstrating equivalent experience
  • Experience translating user and business needs into design concepts and proposals
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive projects forward

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hardware product development
  • Experience leading design projects or design activities
  • Experience collaborating with global and/or cross-functional teams
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience developing PCs, tablets, consumer electronics, or other hardware products
