Description and Requirements

About the Role

As a Partner Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving Lenovo's commercial and consumer business growth through our channel ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, expanding market opportunities, and strengthening Lenovo's presence across your assigned territory.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business partners, retailers, distributors, and internal stakeholders while contributing directly to revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer success.

What You'll Do

Drive Channel Business Growth

  • Manage and grow Lenovo's business through assigned Tier 2 Business Partners (direct and indirect channels).
  • Identify new business opportunities and accelerate sales growth across Lenovo's portfolio, including Notebooks, Desktops, Tablets, Smart Devices, Services and Solutions.
  • Develop and execute territory and partner growth plans to achieve business objectives.

Build Strong Partner Relationships

  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with channel partners and key decision makers.
  • Act as the primary Lenovo representative for assigned partners, helping them navigate market opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with partners to increase Lenovo mindshare, share of wallet, and overall business performance.

Manage Partner Business Performance

  • Monitor partner sales performance, inventory health, Week of Inventory (WOI), and aging stock to drive sustainable growth.
  • Work proactively with partners to optimize inventory planning and improve business efficiency.
  • Support forecasting, demand planning, and pipeline visibility.

Execute Go-to-Market Initiatives

  • Partner with marketing and channel teams to drive campaigns, promotions, product launches, training programs, and in-store activities.
  • Ensure strong Lenovo brand visibility, store display excellence, and customer engagement across assigned accounts.
  • Drive execution of strategic initiatives to maximize partner and customer experience.

Solve Business Challenges

  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners by identifying issues, coordinating with internal teams, and driving solutions.
  • Handle escalations effectively while maintaining high levels of partner satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely resolution of operational, commercial, and customer-related concerns.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in channel sales, account management, business development, partner management, retail sales, or related commercial roles.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with external partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive business results.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territories as required.
