Lenovo is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting for our Solutions & Services Group (SSG) across the Americas while serving as the global Talent Acquisition focal point for SSG. This highly visible role combines people leadership, executive recruiting, strategic business partnership, and global coordination. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing recruiting team, personally support critical and executive-level searches, and partner with senior leaders to build the talent needed to support SSG's continued growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead & Develop the TA Team
- Lead, coach, and develop the Americas SSG Talent Acquisition team, driving strong performance against recruiting goals and service expectations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Represent Global Talent Acquisition with senior business leaders and serve as a delegate for the Global TA Leader as needed.
Executive & Strategic Recruiting
- Lead and execute executive-level searches, partnering directly with senior leaders on talent strategy, market mapping, candidate identification, assessment, and selection.
- Develop recruiting strategies for critical, specialized, and high-priority roles across SSG.
- Serve as a trusted talent advisor, providing market intelligence, competitive insights, talent availability, and recommended hiring approaches.
- Partner with business and HR leaders to connect recruiting strategy with workforce plans and future capability needs.
Global SSG Talent Acquisition Leadership
- Serve as the global TA focal point for SSG, connecting recruiting teams across regions and driving alignment on priorities, strategies, and execution.
- Provide leadership with visibility into global hiring activity, talent pipelines, risks, opportunities, and market trends.
- Identify opportunities to share best practices and scale successful recruiting approaches globally.
Talent Strategy, Insights & Innovation
- Maintain strong knowledge of technology and services talent markets, competitors, compensation trends, and emerging workforce needs.
- Use recruiting analytics, dashboards, pipeline data, and market intelligence to guide decisions and proactively identify talent risks.
- Partner with Employer Branding and Marketing to develop targeted campaigns that strengthen Lenovo's ability to attract critical talent.
- Leverage modern recruiting technology, AI, CRM, sourcing tools, and automation to improve recruiter productivity and candidate experience.
- Drive continuous improvement across recruiting processes, systems, data quality, and operational practices.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably within technology, IT services, or a related industry.
- Experience leading and developing Talent Acquisition teams.
- Demonstrated experience personally recruiting executive-level talent, as well as technical and professional talent.
- Proven ability to partner with senior executives on complex and strategic hiring needs.
- Experience developing recruiting strategies using talent market intelligence and data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience operating within a large, global, highly matrixed organization.
- Strong executive search, talent mapping, sourcing, and market intelligence capabilities.
- Experience coordinating recruiting strategies across multiple geographic regions.
- Strong knowledge of modern TA technology, including ATS, CRM, sourcing, analytics, AI-enabled recruiting tools, and social media.
- Avature ATS and/or CRM experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate recruiting data into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Highly collaborative, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced global environment.
Travel
- Up to 25% domestic and international travel.
- Candidates must be based in the Raleigh, NC area and able to work onsite three days per week.
